The heron had grabbed the snake just like an expert snake handler from behind its head, and the snake then coiled itself around the herons beak and neck and began to obviously tighten its coils quite hard to try and suffocate the heron. The heron shook its head in a rapid movement from side to side trying hard to dislodge the snake but the snake was coiled tight and was squeezing the herons neck. The heron looked very distressed.
